As this is a volunteer program, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be filled.
Would you like to speak to someone from the Australian Pituitary Foundation about our work? We have volunteers who can share their knowledge and experience with your school, community groups, sporting clubs, tertiary institutions and businesses etc.
If so, please contact us as soon as you can. Please remember to provide some details on what you would like us to talk about so we can get the right person for the job. Also, we try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but, as we have limited resources, we may not be able to attend every potential engagement.
To book a speaker:
- email us a message
- call 1300 331 807 and leave a message
- download a Request Form, complete and return
How much will it cost to book a speaker?
There is no fee for a speaker from our source of Volunteers if you are in the same city or location
- our speakers donate their time to assist in creating awareness and supporting education of pituitary conditions.
Please ensure the speaker is welcomed to your event as a valued guest. If our budget allows, please offer to repay the speaker for out-of-pocket expenses, such as transport fares and parking fees, incurred in attending..
How much time should I allow to book a speaker?
It would be lovely if you could give us a minimum of four weeks’ notice please. In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your speaker, please try to allow a minimum cancellation notice period of two business working days.
How much time do we set aside for an APF Speaker?
We find that a time-slot of 15 to 20 minutes is ideal. This length of time tends to keep your audience fully engaged and can work well with a Q&A afterwards.
